while the decision makers convened outside, i stood there nervously scribbling on my notepad to appear distracted and working. in a haze of thoughts and nervous energy i allowed my thoughts to free flow on paper.
here is what i wrote, "oh please lord be with me in these moments where a breakthrough will emerge. fill our hearts with passion and determination so we may see this venture through. spirit guide, please be with us."

I'm Scared
I haven't been scared for a long time that it made me lose my appetite. I haven't been scared in such a way that I could not sleep, have nightmares and wake up not being able to focus on anything else. Today was one of those moments I felt something before i really could understand what was happening.
2 years of work came down to one meeting. one final decision maker.
i certainly felt the pressure and it was immense. today meeting with linda, dan and david of the WSCTC crew was something that will go into the history of ugliest entrepreneurial takeovers. or perhaps the best? certainly, it isn't something that could be told to students in a business lecture class.
i'm still nervous. we find out friday the verdict. i haven't prayed for anything in a long time. today was something different.

It's ironic
i wouldnt suggest becoming an entrepreneur without first having a stable income. but it is the very thought of the rat race, stable, 9-5 income, and the darkness of the unknown that draws people to entrepreneurshiop in teh first place.
it's ironic, because if you had a stable income, you probably wouldnt become an entrepreneur.
it's ironic, because if you had a stable income, you probably wouldnt become an entrepreneur.
what we should have done.
the day after nancy, linda and dan met, we should have signed a new agreement. the focus was so much on the 12k in arrears rent, that we lost focus of what the next step ought to have been. primarily, signing a new lease.
looking back, i should have told dan and linda that i will make the arrears payment on nancys behalf, but i need a new agreement.
but they said, they needed 12k to even talk to us?
now that we were all caught up, perhaps the logical next step ought to be signing the new lease.
this way, we can then propose a tenant use change or conversion into the restaurant.

My biggest failure
Welcome to party II of my entreprenurial journey - The Path of Creation. I want to document my mistakes and failures as a new found business owner so that others can learn from them as i go through them.
I'm going to do my best to be consciously aware of my thought process and share them aloud as i go through them.
The first part of my blogs had to do with my internal struggles as an entrepreneur. Destroying the part of myself that wasnt aligned with what i wanted to do. this time around, i hope to focus on the nuts and bolts. the external.
